"I was living in Dulverton and worked for a boss who exploited me and
physically bullied me. It literally made me feel ill. I felt as if I
had no control over my life or my mind. CHAT has helped me vastly; they
have been a tower of strengh since I've been here. I feel settled now".

" I was living in my council house and was facing eviction. I felt like
I wanted to commit suicide- I had no hope and hated life. CHAT
prevented the eviction and one of their staff went to court with me
many times. The Resettlement Workers have been visiting me weekly to
help me with my debts and budgeting. I feel on top of the world..in
control..and am now working and paying my bills". JANET
